Are you paying to much on air travel? Do you travel a lot because of work or just going on holiday. Would you like to save money on fights?

Have you answered yes to any of my questions, then I will give you some tips on how you can and will save you money on travel.

Search the internet, call airline agencies and watch the tv to keep yourself up to date on discounts. There are a lot of promotional fares offered by airline companies that are new in the industry.

Do not go ahead and book with the first airline company you see with promotions. Take the time to look at as many options as you can. Take the time to find out if the promotion is indeed the cheapest in your area. Ask about other offers available. When checking through the internet, make sure you check more than five sites before you decide where to book your flight.

If you fly more than twice a year, sign up for frequent flier miles. This can save you money.

Find out about student fares or senior citizen discounts or any other discounts. I always say if you don’t ask you don’t get, So ASK.

You can also purchasing tickets trough consolidators. These are people who buy a whole block of tickets and resell them at discounts. This helps the airline fill seats.

Courier companies are also a great way to travel cheap, if your traveling by yourself. They sell cheap airfares in exchange for using your checked luggage allotment for business items such as documents and computer parts which need to get somewhere fast. Therefore your pack should be small enough to carry on. Your job is to show up at the airport on time, meet someone with the ticket, and board the airplane. You do not usually ever handle the checked baggage. Its that easy.
